Please come into our house. You have three options: Go right to our bedroom, go left to the living room and kitchen, or go straight to the bathroom.

Now let's turn right into our bedroom.
Upon entering our room:
From the windows:
Now let's go left from the entryway to the living room.
And if you turn around, there is a small study-nook.
On your right, the dining room.
And behind you, the very small kitchen.
That's it! Tour's over. Please remember to visit our gift shoppe.
What did you decide to do about drawer space in the kitchen? Your apartment is roomier than I anticipated. I am drawn to every bed frame that I pass. Have you found one you like yet?
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Mom
OH, and I like that the cat leads the tour. very welcoming.

Me likey! I agree that it's bigger than I thought it would be..and it looks really nice. :)
ReplyDeleteWe bought a little metal drawer thing that sits on the cabinet next to the dish rack. It holds most of our cooking tools.
ReplyDeleteThe apartment is 711 square feet, which is about the amount of space we were using at our Austin place.
We will renew our bed frame quest soon.
Ok, that does it! I'm packing up as we speak. No need to put yourselves out or anything. Sleeping on the floor does wonders for my back. So which one of us is Janet though?
ReplyDeleteMy graduate housing was a decrepit dump. Yours looks pretty cosey. A nice place to come home to.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you do with your washer/dryer?
ReplyDeleteWe never had a washer/dryer. There are laundry facilities on the ground level of our building.
ReplyDeleteThere is also a bike storage room. There are a million bikes in there, but I'm pretty sure they are never used. In fact, I'm fairly certain that a lot of those bikes have been abandoned by ex-residents. Randi and I, however, bike all over the place.
Oh it looks so cute! I love the windows in the bedroom. I cannot wait to stay with you. Very soon.
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour!!! So glad you like it up there in the north!! Take in all the culture you can and have a ball. Luv U guys!! Jody the Elder
ReplyDeleteYes, the cat carries the tour to a new level of vicariism
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I also love the kitty leading the tour. And those windows in the bedroom are fantastic. i love the wooden Texas clock (is it a clock?) too! Now you just need to get plenty of flannel sheets.
ReplyDeleteIt is a Texas wooden wall hanging made by the very wonderful Jessica Douglas. Nate won it at Epoch's secret santa Christmas party. I love it even more now that we're gone. It has a glitter heart right where Austin is. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, we need some flannel sheets! I have flannel pajamas, but sheets will be necessary, too!
ooh awesome. I always liked her but never got ot know her well. Oh wait...I don't have any flannel p.j.! Off to Target...
