  1. What did you decide to do about drawer space in the kitchen? Your apartment is roomier than I anticipated. I am drawn to every bed frame that I pass. Have you found one you like yet?
    Love you,
    Mom

  4. We bought a little metal drawer thing that sits on the cabinet next to the dish rack. It holds most of our cooking tools.
The apartment is 711 square feet, which is about the amount of space we were using at our Austin place.
We will renew our bed frame quest soon.

  5. Ok, that does it! I'm packing up as we speak. No need to put yourselves out or anything. Sleeping on the floor does wonders for my back. So which one of us is Janet though?

  6. My graduate housing was a decrepit dump. Yours looks pretty cosey. A nice place to come home to.

  7. What did you do with your washer/dryer?

  8. We never had a washer/dryer. There are laundry facilities on the ground level of our building.
There is also a bike storage room. There are a million bikes in there, but I'm pretty sure they are never used. In fact, I'm fairly certain that a lot of those bikes have been abandoned by ex-residents. Randi and I, however, bike all over the place.

  12. Awesome! I also love the kitty leading the tour. And those windows in the bedroom are fantastic. i love the wooden Texas clock (is it a clock?) too! Now you just need to get plenty of flannel sheets.

  13. It is a Texas wooden wall hanging made by the very wonderful Jessica Douglas. Nate won it at Epoch's secret santa Christmas party. I love it even more now that we're gone. It has a glitter heart right where Austin is. :)

And, yes, we need some flannel sheets! I have flannel pajamas, but sheets will be necessary, too!
